Sheri joined Asante in 2010 to lead the development and growth of Asante Physician Partners (APP). Over the past 6 years she led the transformation of APP from one physician and a couple staff, to over 230 providers and 600 staff in 23 locations. Sheri then led the development of HASO (Health Alliance of Southern Oregon), a clinically integrated network of both independent and APP physicians. She grew HASO from its start in 2014 to over 350 providers throughout southern Oregon, working together to improve quality care and improve efficiency in today’s population health environment.
Prior to joining Asante, Sheri worked in a variety of health care settings with a focus on improving quality and cost in the delivery of patient care both as a member of the US Army and for the past 25 years in the civilian healthcare sector. Sheri received her bachelor’s degree in health care administration from the University of Michigan and an MHA from Xavier University. She has served on many community boards and obtained her Board certification and Fellow within the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
Community led Asante is based in Medford, Oregon, and governed by a board of directors comprised of local volunteers and physicians. Board members give their time to ensure that the people of nine southern Oregon and northern California counties receive high-quality healthcare services provided with compassion. All decisions are made by people who live and work in our community. As the largest healthcare provider in nine counties, Asante provides comprehensive medical care to more than 580,000 people throughout Southern Oregon and Northern California. Our facilities include Asante Ashland Community Hospital in Ashland, Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, Asante Physician Partners, our clinically integrated network, Health Alliance of Southern Oregon and additional healthcare partnerships throughout the region.
