Susan Walsh is Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at Southern Oregon University. She earned a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Oregon. As a Professor of Communication, her teaching and research interests have focused on the social construction of race and gender within various forms of human and electronic communication. Dr. Walsh currently serves on the Boards of Directors for Southern Oregon Public Television (SOPTV) and Southern Oregon Regional Development, Inc. (SOREDI), and is a member of the Southern Oregon Success Key Leaders Council.
